This week's Kissena Royale was by far the larget and most prestigious turn out of the series. There was Gibby Hatton, Andy Lakatosh, Danny Sullivan, Matt Difenbach to take part in the 1,2,3 Keirin.

We also had our resident riders - Andrew LaCorte, Kimberly Edwards, Scott Demel and Brian Shea winning the overall Kissena Royale jerseys for their respective categories.

Mike Wilzipeski also continued his impressive form by winning the Cat 4 Miss & Out and the first Keirin heat.

One of our resident multiple time Masters National Champs - Kimberly Edwards mixed it up with the 1,2,3 Keirin Heats and then came back and soundly trashed all the Masters in the Keirin Feature - I got fifth right behind  up and coming junior - Stephanie Torres. Stephanie just came back from Ecuador where she took part in the National Championships there and won four Gold medals.

Keirin effort No 1 - 92 inch gear 48x14

Keirin effort No 2 - 92 inch gear 48 x 14 (notice that 42 mph per hour speed above seems to be Garmin anomaly)

So after getting soundly trashed in the Keirin and Scratch race, I did a flying 200 meter effort after the races were over, this was my first flying 200 meter for the season. Gear used was a 92 inch 48x14 and the time was a 13.63 seconds.
