Finishing just shy of the podium on Saturday were the U.S.’ Andrew LaCorte (Plainview, N.Y.) and Dena Eaton (Scottsdale, Ariz.). Both athletes qualified for the bronze medal match in their respective match sprint fields, but ultimately finished fourth overall.
