A pilgrimage to the legendary Queens velodrome reminds Liz that fun is not a four-letter word.
In 2002, Bicycling magazine called Kissena "the nation's worst cycling track," posing the facility as a rough-and-tumble "Field of Dreams" for the NYC fixed-gear community. All I know is everyone who's ever raced Kissena smiles when they talk about it. I had to see it for myself.....read more
